#DIY Paracord bracelets

You have probably watched some outdoorsy type of person wearing a bracelet from a kind of a cord that has been braided really . That’s a paracord bracelet. Even Max from the popular Hollywood film “Mad Max: Fury Road” wore one. We’ll that. Aside from it’s really artistic and cool look

The paracord, short term for parachute chord, has been very popular in the bushcrafting, mountaineering, survival, and outdoor community because of its versatility as a cordage. It can be used in a myriad of ways.  According to backdoorsurvival.com, there are 44 ways to use the paracord in a survival situation and for prepping for the “zombie apocalypse” – from securing your tents, to making a tourniquet, and even as a dental floss!

The paracord is a “lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes“. Because of it’s durability, it was even used

Here are some of the  paracord bracelets I made myself. Most of my bracelets were made using the “cobra weave” but I find the “fish-tail weave” nicer to look at.

In case you’re wondering, I watched a tutorial on Youtube on How to Make a Paracord Bracelet and I came across this video. Really, really, helpful stuff.
